Graduate Research Assistant
Diego is a current Ph.D. candidate in Biomedical Engineering at Columbia University. He is interested in the development and translation of innovative devices, imaging, informatics, and biotechnology. Diego obtained a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University and a B.A. in Physics from Wesleyan University. He also volunteered as a Spanish medical interpreter in several NYC hospitals. Born and raised in Mexico, Diego loves cycling, running, and playing taiko. He also loves traveling, taking photos, tinkering with electronics, and learning new languages. He is fluent in Spanish, Korean, and English.
